The Federal Communications Commission voted 3-2 for a set of Net Neutrality rules that fell far short of an open Internet future. The rules put in place set a double standard that keeps the Internet coming into your home through DSL, cable, and fiber optic free and open while allowing mobile internet and applications on your phone or tablet to be capped and interferred with by providers. Even your home Internet is not completely safe, because courts have consistantly said the FCC doesn't have the power to keep the Internet free. A future lawsuit brought up by an ISP could kill Net Neutrality.
That's why the most important thing you can do to save the Internet as we know it is to write your congress person and tell them you want Net Neutrality put into law so that no provider can limit your speech on or access to the Internet. Below you will find a form that will allow you to find and write to your repressentative. Just fill in you're 10 digit zip code and your good to go!
