Avoiding Tuna, Swordfish and Shrimp is a simple way you can be part of the solution!

After surviving the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs, rare leatherbacks are now endangered.  The number of sea turtles captured each year--estimated at 250,000--by swordfish, tuna, and shrimp boats is staggering.  Many of the world’s top predator fish have also been diminished to their lowest levels in history.

Eat Lower on the Seafood Chain!

We can improve our own health and the health of our environment by eating lower on the food chain.  The fishing techniques that are used to capture top ocean predators – swordfish, shark, tuna and others – are also responsible for incidentally killing leatherbacks and countless other sea turtles, whales, and seabirds.
