Petition to President Obama for Nuclear Weapons Abolition
This past April 5th in Prague, President Obama stated that:
"One nuclear weapon exploded in one city -- be it New York or Moscow, Islamabad or Mumbai, Tokyo or Tel Aviv, Paris or Prague -- could kill hundreds of thousands of people. And no matter where it happens, there is no end to what the consequences might be -- for our global safety, our security, our society, our economy, to our ultimate survival."

On April 5th President Obama pledged the United States to demonstrate leadership for nuclear disarmament and abolition. Now we must work to ensure that commitment is fulfilled. Help us add 100,000 signatures to an international petition for abolition to be delivered before the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference at the United Nations in May 2010.
