Appeal to Senator John Kerry
Massachusetts needs jobs and real solutions. Sen. Kerry is a member of Congress’ “Super Committee”, charged with reducing the deficit by $1.2 trillion by November 23, 2011. Tell Senator Kerry he must stand up for ordinary people!
- Create jobs and get people back to work! Invest in infrastructure, green energy, education.
- Restore fairness to the tax system. Repeal the Bush tax cuts for incomes over $250,000. Tax millionaires, billionaires, capital gains and speculation.
- Hands Off Social Security. It does not contribute a penny to the deficit and is safe for decades to come.
- Control health care costs with Medicare for All. Get profit-gouging corporations out of the healthcare delivery system.
- End the Afghanistan and Iraq wars! Bring all our troops, contractors, and money home.
- Cut the bloated Pentagon budget. Stop building new weapons systems and nuclear weapons facilities we don’t need. Support a cooperative, less militarized U.S. foreign policy.
