It is headed by Daniel Volman, scholar and expert on Pentagon activities on the continent of Africa for over 30 years. Foreign Policy In Focus (FPIF) is a "Think Tank Without Walls" connecting the research and action of more than 600 scholars, advocates, and activists seeking to make the United States a more responsible global partner. FPIF provides timely analysis of U.S. foreign policy and international affairs and recommends policy alternatives. It is a project of the Institute for Policy Studies.

 

 

Hip Hop Caucus

The Hip Hop Caucus empowers the Hip Hop generation to participate in the policymaking process by engaging those born after 1964 through issue campaigns, events, and voter education. The Caucus works to broaden and revitalize a civil and human rights agenda for the 21st century that is embodied in a multi-racial, multi-cultural and multi-class progressive movement.

TransAfrica Forum serves as an educational and organizing center that encourages progressive viewpoints in the United States foreign policy arena and advocates justice for the people of Africa and the African Diaspora. The organization promotes solidarity with the oppressed and supports human rights, gender equity, democracy, and sustainable economic and environmental development practices in Africa and other countries where people of African descent reside.
