Tired of the same old bar scene and professional networking events? Then, it’s time to join the best young professional group in DC and the only one of its kind – the Friends of the National Zoo’s Young Professional Club at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo!

Designed for area professionals who want to have a good time, while supporting wildlife conservation efforts, the YP Club at the National Zoo hosts unforgettable events in absolutely awesome places. Past events have featured top bands, craft beer, food trucks, animal demonstrations, and keeper talks. All include the opportunity to socialize, learn and have fun!

Since its creation the program has grown to nearly 9,000 members. YPs are among the first to know about tickets to the Zoo’s most popular events like Brew at the Zoo, ZooFari, and Grapes with the Apes! They also receive exclusive invitations to exhibit previews, and an e-newsletter that details all the latest happenings at the Zoo
