Betty White Book Signing Event

Award-winning actress and New York Times-bestselling author Betty White will sign two of her recent books at a FREE public book signing event Friday, May 18. The books, Betty & Friends: My Life at the Zoo (G. P. Putnam’s Sons) and If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won’t) (Berkley Books), will be available for purchase at the book signing event. Please note that Ms. White will only able to sign two books per person due to the anticipated size of the audience and time limitations. Additionally, individuals MUST RSVP as space is limited. We encourage you to take public transportation as parking at the Zoo will be extremely challenging in the middle of the day.

Known for her brilliant career in television and film, Ms. White has delighted audiences for nearly seven decades and earned numerous accolades, including seven Emmy Awards. Most people do not realize that Ms. White has a true passion for animals and has worked on behalf of animal welfare issues her entire adult life. As far back as Ms. White can remember, animals were a part of her life, and regular visits to zoos were commonplace. A self-described “zoophile,” she believes deeply in the importance of zoos in saving endangered animals and in educating the public about the plight of wildlife today.
