US Attorney Paula Silsby and MCLU Executive Director Shenna Bellows will engage in a lively discussion of "Fear, Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law" in Portland and Bangor tonight and tomorrow. Joel Rosenthal, President, Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs will lead the event giving a historical context to civil liberties under pressure. We will be joined by Carnegie Council Senior Fellow Jeff McCausland, US Army, Ret. and local Library Directors Steve Podgajny of the Portland Public Library and Barbara McDade of the Bangor Public Library. Today! Tomorrow! Please join us for a lively discussion of how fear has dominated our public policy over the last eight years, and how we are resolved to win back our civil liberties and restore the rule of law. Thank you for all that you do,
Alex, Alysia, Brianna, Edward, Katy, Marian, Shenna and Zach
