Support Real Diplomacy with Iran, Instead of Military Threats

Representative Barbara Lee (D-CA) has introduced a resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives that calls for easing tensions and normalizing relations between the United States and Iran. The bill, H.R. 5056, the “Iran Diplomatic Accountability Act of 2008,” calls for the appointment of a high-level representative or special envoy charged with finding a diplomatic solution that includes direct, unconditional and comprehensive talks with Iran.

If passed, this bill would do much to put U.S. relations with Iran on a footing of diplomacy rather than military threats and confrontation.

Please ask your Representative and your Senators to oppose military threats, promote diplomacy, and support H.R. 5056.
