Tell Congress One Million Iraqis Have Died

The Lancet study already demonstrated that, as of July 2006, the deaths caused by the U.S. invasion of Iraq rivaled the death toll of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Our update suggests that it has now surpassed even high estimates of deaths in Rwanda.

Help expose the true costs of war by signing the petition telling Congress.

7300 April 21, 2013 Gar Smith Berkeley, CA, US A review of the long and bloody history of US military invasions abroad, suggests that America must be responsible for the largest "holocaust" ever perpetrated by a single government -- far surpassing the 6 million estimated killed by the German government during WWII.
7299 April 21, 2013 Frank Walter Portland, OR, US Why is America following a similar course to the one taken by Adolph Hitler in 1939? Hitler invaded an almost defenseless Poland (cavalry against tanks), and in 2003 the bush sent the most powerful military with advanced weaponry against a defenseless Iraq, the results of which amount to 1,000,000 dead Iraqis! For what? Iraq's oil it turns out and now that oil is no longer a state monopoly but controlled by the world's major oil cartels.

7297 April 18, 2013 Richard Dinges Towson, MD, US If we truly wish to solve our economic woes then our representatives must consider the costs of war vs the sustainability of peace as a context for investment.
War is obsolete in 2013. Our awareness as human beings has exceeded the limitations of contemporary political discourse.
We must invent a New Paradigm socio-economic-holistic political platform. A new language must be created if we wish to counter the ignorance of a status quo directive initiated by fear and profit.
