I would like to invite you to attend the Feminist Majority Foundation’s Annual Intern Hill Briefing and Congressional Visit Day, titled Empowering Women, Ending Violence, Ensuring Reproductive Rights, on Wednesday, July 21, from 10 – 11:30 a.m. in the Russell Senate Office Building Conference Room. The event will feature discussion among a panel of experts and Congressional Speakers on the following topics: Domestic and International family planning, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), the International Violence Against Women Act (IVAWA), and Sexual Health and Reproductive Rights (SRHR). Following the briefing, interns are encouraged to join us in congressional visits.
