Urge your Senators to Stand Up for Women's Reproductive Health in the FY 2012 Spending Bill
Soon the U.S. Senate will be considering a critical spending bill for Fiscal Year 2012. Unfortunately, when the bill comes to the Senate floor a number of amendments are expected to be offered that will continue the assault on the reproductive health and rights of women and girls globally. Most likely are amendments that would reduce the amount of money for international family planning and reproductive health, eliminate funding for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and block the language that would permanently repeal the Global Gag Rule.
Tell your Senators that you support full funding for international family planning and a permanent repeal of the “global gag rule.”
