Tell Your Representatives to Sign the Climate Change Principles Letter!
While debate on climate change legislation stalled in the Senate, Representatives Waxman, Markey, and Inslee drafted a "Dear Colleague" letter outlining four principles for effective and just climate change legislation. These principles are in keeping with our 2006 Statement of Conscience on Global Warming/Climate Change. It is important to get as many representatives as we can to sign on to this letter, going on record in support of strong climate legislation. The more people who sign on now, the stronger the message that we want effective and just legislation. Please urge your representative to sign!
