Oppose Chertoff's Border Wall

In order to proceed with plans to build 670 miles of wall across the Mexico-U.S. border, on April 1st Michael Chertoff officially waived almost three dozen laws and regulations—including the American Indian Religious Freedom Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Air Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and many more. Rep. Grijalva of Arizona has proposed legislation to repeal Chertoff’s ability to waive laws which are intended to protect Native American and border communities and culture, air, water, wildlife, and health and safety.
