Thanks to the incredible efforts of all our amazing volunteers, SAFE California was able to gather 800,000 signatures statewide for the SAFE California Initiative. Thanks to you we will be on the ballot in the November 2012 election. For the first time ever, California voters will have a chance to end death sentences and protect the innocent, to improve personal safety for all families, and to save $1 billion in limited state funds in the next five years. We cleared our first hurdle. Now many more obstacles stand between us and victory in November 2012 -- and you can help us to sail over them too. HOUSE PARTIES Need an excuse to have a party? We’ll give you one! Host a party at your house, your church, or a local community center and help us spread the word about SAFE California and raise the funds necessary to have a fierce TV advertisement campaign next fall.

REQUEST A SPEAKER/ORGANIZE A PUBLIC EDUCATION EVENT If you would like a SAFE California representative to come speak to your group, let us know! We have an amazing group of spokespeople who can share their personal experiences with the death penalty as well as campaign staff who are experts and can give in depth information about the initiative.
