Registration Opens: 7:30 AM Safety Talk: 8:00 AM Project Duration: 8:00-11:30 AM Volunteer Lunch: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM picnic style (wristband required) Volunteer Celebration w/ Live Music- Grass Onions: 12:00 PM -3:00 PM (wristband required) Free Swim: From 12 PM on. (Barton Springs) (wristband required)

About National Trails Day
National Trails Day is a conservation effort which provides maintenance to trail projects nation wide through the American Hiking Society. This local project is made possible through a partnership initiated by Austin-area REI (Recreational Equipment, Inc.) stores, and includes active participation from: American YouthWorks' Environmental Corps, the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, the Austin Parks Foundation, and Hill Country Conservancy. Additional contributors include the Central Texas Trail Tamers, Greenbelt Guardians, the Central Texas Mountaineers, Austin Green Art, and the Austin Ridge Riders. What to Bring: *Water Bottle *Gloves *Breathable Clothing *Hat *Comfortable Shoes *Long Pants *Sunscreen *Swimsuit- For swimming in Barton Springs pool after the workday! *Change of Shoes (Flip Flops): to wear something more comfortable *Towel **Please carpool to reduce our impact from this event!
