Our Senators just had a whole month of summer vacation to recharge. Tax Policies that are steering us towards a clean energy future could sure use a recharge as well.  Please call or email your Senators today to urge them to immediately extend the expiring clean energy tax incentives.   

STEP 1: CALL
1) Call the Capitol Hill Switchboard (202-224-3121) and ask for your two Senators’ numbers.

2) When you call, state your name and location and ask to be transferred to the Chief of Staff.  If she/he isn’t available, ask to leave a message for her/him.
 
3) Sample message: “My name is _____ and I am calling from (location) to let Senator XX know that I strongly support solar energy and the tax credits that are spurring its development. It is pastime to find a bi-partisan solution that allows critical long-term extension of the clean energy tax incentives. In a time when we should be throwing all we have at our energy problems, I'm counting on my Senator to make it happen.
