We have one more shot at passing a long-term extension of the critical federal clean energy tax credits. It's now, or lame duck session—which is as good as never.  Please call or email your Senators today to urge them to vote YES on S. 3335, which includes an 8 year extension of the commercial and residential solar tax credit, and doubles the residential cap to $4,000. 

STEP 1: CALL
1) Call the Capitol Hill Switchboard (202-224-3121) and ask for your two Senators’ numbers.

2) When you call, state your name and location and ask to be transferred to the Chief of Staff.  If she/he isn’t available, ask to leave a message for her/him.
 
3) Sample message: “My name is _____ and I am calling from (location) to let Senator XX know that I strongly support solar energy. S.3335 contains the critical long-term extension of the clean energy tax credits needed to bring these crucial industries into the mainstream. In a time when we should be throwing all we have at our energy problems, I'm counting on my federal representative to make it happen. I trust that Senator XX will demonstrate his/her support for clean energy by voting YES on S.3335
