We in World Can’t Wait pledge to work with everyone who wants to build an ANTI-war movement.

I am disappointed in Our government's policies. I thought we had a champion of peace when Obama was elected but it has turned out to be more of the same. Unfortunately it seems he is beholden to war-mongering republicans and weapons manufacturers more than he is to the Nobel committee who awarded him the Peace prize.

The wisdom of the ancient culture and life-styles of Afghani Peoples tell us poignantly that they do not desire nor respect the imposition of US ways of behaving upon their sovereign lands, and that they have courage never to yield to the invaders . US troops are in no way prepared nor motivated to live and learn from the hospitality of their people and must humbly and wisely admit to failure and bow out asap. The social problems rampant in this country need to be seriously addressed. Afghanistan should be allowed to develp in accord with its own environment and harmony.

I want all our soldiers to come home to their families and I want the money that will be ultimately wasted in Karzai's corruption to be used in improving the VA Medical capability and funding PTSD.

Killing to maintain an empire is not what America should be about. After reading Mike Ruppert's book "Crossing the Rubicon," Webster Tarpley's "Synthetic Terror: Made in USA," and books on 9/11 by David Ray Griffin, this Vietnam-era vet knows that the "War on Terror" is just a cover story for corporate empire-building. Educate yourself and stop the killing now!

I am opposed to any escalation anywhere. We have lost enough. My son is an OIF vet. Two tours. He is so screwed up mentally from what he saw there. Afghanistan will wind up being as bad. We need to get our kids out. Period. I myself am a veteran. I have another kid in the Navy. She has been to the Gulf on one of those Aircraft Carriers. We need to stop the war mongering and get on with the peace mongering. We need to conduct honest and clear dialogue with the leaders of Afghanistan and show them that war is NEVER the answer. I didn't vote for Obama cause I had a feeling he would be Bush lite. He has not disappointed me. The people in that part of the world need to be more proactive in their own security. We need to get a diplomat, not a military man like McChrystal (liar, recall Pat Tillman) who just wants to up the ante. Bring em home.

As a wounded Korean War veteran, I directly understand the futility of war. The Bush Administration must be held responsible for torture and other crimes. Pres.Obama must get the US out of the historical quagmire in Afghanastan

As long as we have a offensive military they will people in power wanting to use them. Not for right, not for good, but for their own objectives. Same as the begaining of time the rich the powerful stand on the backs of the poor who buy their product and fight their wars. The fields of the world have always been littered with the bodies of the poor. My objectives are;
1) end the militatry and it's industrial system
2) end corperate sponsership of our government
3) allow us to be free
What are you going to do about the USA

I campaigned and really rallied to register voters for this President!
Whom now I find is of the same stuff as all the others. I am so dissappointed in his behavior and policies! He should be called the "GREAT DECEIVER"! He sure fooled me!

every voice against the US military empire weighs in the balance. It will take a generation (at least) to restore our Constitution and regain the "practice" of Democracy - long lost.
So far, we are slipping further backwards. JE

The illegal wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have cost too many lives and valuable resources. It's time to end these wars and bring the troops home.

I am genuinely concerned about the surge in recruitment of our youth into the armed forces. My younger brother is a PROUD member of the United States Marine Core and I am scared for him and our family every day he is serving. I want the recruitment to stop. I want the war to stop. I want the death to stop.
