Tell Congress to Raise the Minimum Wage
It's been four years since Congress last raised the federal minimum wage and 21 long years since the last wage increase for tipped workers. In a hurting economy, we just can't wait any longer for a raise. Tens of thousands of low-wage workers are struggling to feed their families and keep a roof over their head. This is immoral, and it's something Congress can fix!
Workers, economic justice advocates and people of faith across the country will come together for a Day of Action to Raise Up America!
We need a federal minimum wage that reflects our values and allows workers the dignity of a wage that provides the means to live safely and comfortably. All faith traditions affirm the dignity of work—jobs that provide the means to live safely and comfortably. Join advocates and people of faith across the country urging elected officials to stand with us and support the Fair Minimum Wage Act raising the federal minimum wage
We can't let Congress ignore the cries of working people any longer. It's time for a raise!
