Building Progressive Power: A Network in Action

We are excited to announce our first annual Community Conference!

The Community Conference is an exclusive event for DIA members and partners that will offer an intensive, hands-on opportunity to:

• Gain practical skills in online organizing
• Dive deeply into specific areas of the Salsa platform
• Share and learn from successful campaigns within the DIA community
• Learn cutting-edge strategies for effective outreach, list growth, and fundraising
• Develop a powerful network of users to foster collaboration on future projects
• Help shape the development roadmap for the Salsa platform

We hope that each participant will leave with both the practical skills to most effectively use the Salsa platform, a strong peer network, and a fresh approach to their online campaign work.

Keynote by Lawrence Lessig of Change Congress and other community-wide presentations will be made available via live video conference to our extended community where we expect to reach over 500 people.

The conference will be held at the "green" Hotel Palomar, located 2 1/2 blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro stop in Washington, DC.

         

Registration Information

Registration is now closed for the DemocracyInAction Community Conference. There may still be a few spots available for registration at the door - please come at 8:30am on Thursday and we'll try to get you in. The late registration fee is $245 and must be paid online by credit card.

Agenda

There will be several sessions for all attendees as well as Breakout Sessions focused on Tools + Strategies, Customization + Integration, and Technical issue. The final agenda is available here.
