At DemocracyInAction we have come to realize that some of the most exciting work in the nonprofit community is coming from the Bay Area and we want to do all we can to help facilitate this.

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new San Francisco office!

Our San Francisco office has two Outreach and Support Managers, Kip Williams and Jory Cunningham, two veterans of national nonprofit e-communications and organizing who will be working with our Bay Area clients to help them make the most of their online programs using Salsa, our new online organizing platform.

Our new office is located in the fabulous San Francisco Nonprofit Technology Center. We share this space with some of the most exciting minds in nonprofit technology, with whom we will be working to take the Bay Area nonprofit community to the next level of effectiveness and success.

Part of our mission has always been to create a vibrant community to help build a collaborative resource capable of serving the progressive movement for years to come. We think that having a strong presence in California will better help us achieve that. Not only will we have longer office hours, we'll be able to conduct more in-person trainings, offer more strategic support, and reach a broader audience to expand the network in ways we weren't able to before.

We will be hosting a DIA office opening/ first anniversary of the SF Nonprofit Tech Center party on July 13th at 5:00 PM. Come on down and meet the new team and see our digs. Food and drink will be provided and if you don't have the most interesting conversation of your day at this party, then you are not trying!
